I watch paranormal shows and I am seriously more fascinated by the possibility that these people are lying than I am by the actual content or "evidence". But this has always been one of the things that fascinates me about the paranormal industry in general, that many of these people are probably lying, taking advantage of people who want to believe in an afterlife or that our loved ones might still exist somewhere, these paranormal celebs attend conventions and meet their fans and take their money while looking them in the eye and claiming what they do is real. I know in this specific case it seems even more personal that they are doing this "cold reading" technique and telling people that they are speaking with their family members etc, and that makes it more personal. The funny thing is, I basically feel this way about the entire paranormal community (in the event that many of these people are lying).
